Took the kids up to Picture People in Denver (at Park Meadows Mall) to get their pictures taken. Here are Braedyn’s pictures.

The same day Braedyn had his last day at Springs Ranch, he also had his First day at The Imagination Classical Academy (TICA). He will be going to afternoon Kindergarten now.
He actually ended up starting school later than the other kids. Classes actually started the Wednesday before.

Braedyn got a spot at The Imagination Classical Academy, a charter school in the district, so we chose to switch him. Not that we had anything against the public school, we just thought that a charter school would be a better fit for him.

To celebrate my first day of Kindergarten, Grandma Cinny and Papa took us out for ice cream!!!!
Today was my first day of Kindergarten!!! It was a great day. I woke up and ate breakfast and then I got dressed for school. Dad stayed home from work in the morning so he could help me do my hair and help mom take me to school.

Before school starts, we get to play on the playground. I really like the sandbox.
Then when the bell rings, we get our backpacks and line up with our class.
Then we follow our teacher to the classroom.
My teachers name is Mrs. Pharris. She hung a banner on the door for us to walk through!
When we get to our room, we hung our backpacks on our own coat hook by our name. Then we sat down in the meeting room and waited for everyone to get their backpacks hung up too.
Then Mrs. Pharris showed us around the classroom and where everything is. Then we went back to our meeting room and talked about some more stuff.
Then we went to music. We sat down on the floor and sang songs. And then we played a fun music game called “Colors'”.
Then after that we went back to our classroom and sat at our tables and colored and had our snack.
At the end of school we get to go outside for recess!!! I went right to the sandbox again to dig in the dirt with my friend Henry.
Then I played some other places too.
Then the bell rang and that means we had to go line up against the wall again and wait for our parents to pick us up. When we see our mom or dad we raise our hand and then Mrs. Pharris waves at them and then gives us a high five and then we can leave.
